Safety Protocols

We're committed to keeping our ALS supporters, volunteers and staff safe while providing a place to enjoy the game you love while raising money and awareness for ALS.  We have implemented, and will be enforcing, additional measures and precautions, as recommended by the CDC & local government through the duration of our event. We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

Here is a list of the precautions we currently have in place:

  • Practice physical distancing maintain 6 feet of distance between and among guests and employees before, during and after your round.

  • Use of protective equipment such as masks is encouraged for all guests.

  • All guests, staff and volunteers will be given hand sanitizer to use throughout the duration of the event.

  • Avoid touching and removal of flagstick when putting.

  • Staff and participants who are ill or symptomatic including high temperature—higher than 100.4°F (38°C)—must stay home.

  • Promote hygiene practices including cleaning high-touch surfaces and objects.

  • Glen Echo staff, ALS Association staff and volunteers will to wear face masks and gloves through the duration of the event.

  • We will adhere to latest guidance for maintaining social distance while getting around the course and will update you on what that looks like closer to tournament time.

  • Masks must be worn at all times inside Glen Echo Country Club building including in locker rooms.

  • Brunch before tournament and appetizers after tournament will be served in boxes by Glen Echo staff outside of country club building.

  • Golfers will need to sign release waiver before participating in tournament play.

  • Two golfers per cart.
