Ryan Davis is the managing partner of the St. Louis office of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and a co-leader of the Firm’s Sports and Entertainment Group and maintains an active mergers & acquisitions, corporate and sports and entertainment practice. Ryan represents St. Louis-based clients such as the St. Louis Blues, the St. Louis Cardinals and Stifel as well as M&A, corporate and sports clients across the United States and abroad, including 31 National Hockey League teams. In addition to his legal practice, Ryan serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Sports Commission, the Development Board of St. Louis Children’s Hospital and the Chairs’ Counsel of Greater St. Louis, Inc. and was recently appointed by St. Louis City Mayor Tishaura Jones to serve on the St. Louis Downtown Engagement and Public Safety Initiative. Ryan coached his two children, Kathryn and Carter, in soccer and softball/baseball throughout their childhoods. He is an avid Blues, Cardinals and Duke basketball fan and a soon-to-be avid CITY SC soccer fan. Adrienne Davis is a partner at MGD Law, an estate planning boutique law firm based in Clayton. Adrienne maintains a full-service legal practice for estate planning, post-death administration of estates and trusts, and related transfer tax, fiduciary income tax, and nonprofit tax planning. Prior to working at her current firm, Adrienne spent 11 years, including three as a partner, working with a large St. Louis-based law firm with a significant estate planning department and over five years as Senior Trust Counsel at The Commerce Trust Company. Adrienne is an adjunct law professor at Saint Louis University School of Law, where she teaches Wills, Trusts and Estates and Estate Planning. She is Chair of the Steering Committee for the Probate and Trust Section of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and an active member of STEP (the Society of Trusts and Estates Professionals, a worldwide professional association advising families on international estate planning issues), the Missouri Bar Probate and Trust Division Subcommittee to Study the Uniform Electronic Wills Act, the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis and the Trainer’s Network for 21/64. Adrienne enjoys her pandemic-acquired hobbies of knitting and crochet, looking after her two teenagers, Kathryn and Carter, and her dogs, Rocky and Joey.
